There's Help in the House

I think one of the biggest lessons God has been teaching me lately is to stop looking outside for what He's already placed inside.

In this season, He's been shifting my mindset from being a consumer to becoming a producer. Instead of constantly asking, "What do I need?" He's been asking me, "What have I already given you?"

And honestly...that's been stretching me.

It's easy to believe we need more money, more resources, more connections, or more opportunities before we can move. But God keeps reminding me of the widow and the jars. Before He multiplied anything, He asked her, "What do you have in your house?" The miracle didn't begin with what she lacked—it began with what she already possessed.

I've realized that "the house" isn't just my physical home. It's everything God has already entrusted to me. My education. My skills. My experiences. My relationships. My community. The people willing to pray, encourage, challenge, and build alongside me.

There's help in the house.

I'm learning to stop overlooking what's already in my hands while waiting for something else to arrive. God has been showing me that many of the answers I've been praying for are connected to what He's already provided. My assignment isn't waiting on more—it's waiting on my obedience.

Maybe you've been feeling like you're lacking too. Can I encourage you to take inventory? Look around before you look elsewhere. What gifts have you been sitting on? What relationships have you neglected? What opportunities have you dismissed because they seemed too ordinary?

There may be more in your house than you realize.

And maybe, just maybe, God is ready to multiply what you've been overlooking.
